I graduated today. How weird is that? I have officially graduated high school. We spend our entire childhood wanting and waiting for this day, and I just lived it. What a weird feeling. A friend of mine asked me tonight "Aly, what should I be feeling now?" and I didn't have an answer for him. I just told him the truth: "I don't know, but I'm feeling a little bit of everything right now." We're excited, but we're all a little confused. We're ready to move on, but not quite ready to let go. We find ourselves looking ahead with big dreams to touch the sky ( :D ) and glancing back at the people that have helped us learn to fly.
I'm about to leave the States to go back to South Africa. I cannot wait to be back! I pray that I soak up every little thing God has for me there. His blessings blow me away, you know? I never thought I'd be able to go to Africa once, let alone twice. And to stay with such amazing people! There truly is no fathoming our Father!! And I'm so thankful He's above my comprehension!
I'm on the brink of being delusional. I need to catch some sleep before my first flight!
I love y'all! I'd name names, but that'd take forever and I don't have time for that!! :)
[in case anyone is reading who understands: *bump* :D love you guys]
I'll post again soon!!

Hi Hon! I wanted to see if you posted anything since you left. . . which was only 6 1/2 hours ago!! I'm still tearing up, but it's all part of 'watching you fly'. :) I will NEVER forget the kiss you blew me at graduation ceremonies, and the look in your eyes when I blew one back to you. It was as if we both knew, without saying a word, we were both saying 'good-bye' to a season of your life together. . while also telling each other "I Love You" as you go on to the 'next season' without me physically being with you. I will hold that memory with me forever. I can't wait to read your posts of all the Lord does in your life in the weeks to come. Love, mom
This is more to your readers than you, since you'll know you're there! Hey everybody else...
It's about 4pm (Arkansas time) on Sat (5/24) and Deb just heard from Aly! She's safely in Jo-berg, with her luggage and the Kinsleys. I just wanted everybody to know in case it's a few days before Aly can post.
Thanks for praying for my little girl!
