Thought it would be appropriate to do a final post on Summer Adventure 2010 complete with a short picture journey through different parts of the summer. There are many more on my facebook, so feel free to go take a look! If you don't have facebook but want some more, email me and I can send some! :) Enjoy!
Hello New York City!
First of many "I'm excited!!" pictures.
Picture of The Gallery setup for the service.

View from one of the Gallery's windows. That's 27th Street.
Carmen (Aaron's wife) and their youngest son, Joshua (6 months in this picture)

Oh, you know. Just taking over Manhattan. It's what I do now.

Ladies and gentlemen, Rachel will probably hate me for posting this picture. But I find it hilarious. So here it is! (Rachel is sitting by me and then Jen Brown is in the foreground). Welcome to City Uprising :) haha

Letting interns play in Chuck E. Cheese for Ezra's birthday makes for funny pictures.
Beginning of my 20th birthday: Phantom of the Opera!! I'd been waiting to see this show for roughly 7 years. So excited!
At the end of my birthday bonanza that Rachel organized. Such a great NYC birthday! And the cupcakes were delicious!

Danielle (SendNYC intern) and Spencer (Gallery intern) being goofy.
Ezra, the Coe's oldest, and I after he gave me his banjo silly band. It hasn't left my wrist yet!

Carla (AKA an amazing new friend and Gallery intern) and I before seeing In The Heights.
It was our fancy night out!

Me being way too excited about getting autographs!

Last SendNYC family picture (minus Rachel)
From left to right: me, Ezra (4), Aaron, Carmen, Danielle, Joshua (7 months), Lindsey
It's been an absolutely incredible summer. I can't thank the people I've met these past 2 months enough. I hope that God will soon bring me back to the Gallery and SendNYC. But right now, God has me leaving and no longer having a direct hand in what He is doing in this city. Thankfully, though, its not up to me. It never has been. So I leave this city in the hands of One far more capable than I. And if it weren't for that comforting fact, I don't know if I'd be able to leave at all. For that reason, I can't get this song out of my head...God of This City (lyrics slightly altered by me).
You're the God of this city
You're the King of these people
You're the Lord of this nation
You are.
You're the Light in their darkness
You're the Hope to these hopeless
You're the Peace to the restless
You are.
There is no one like our God.
There is no one like our God.
For greater things have yet to come,
And greater things are still to be done, in this city.
Greater things are yet to come,
And greater things are still to be done here.
You're the Lord of creation,
The Creator of all things,
You're the King above all Kings,
You are.
You're the Strength in their weakness,
You're the Love to these broken,
You're the Joy in their sadness
You are.
For there is no one like our God.
There is no one like you, God.
Greater things have yet to come,
And greater things are still to be done in this city.
Where glory will shine from hearts alive,
With praise for You and love for you, in this city.
